Annapurna Base Camp at Sunrise

One of the unique aspects of Mount Fishtail is that it has never been climbed. The Nepalese government has declared it a sacred peak and climbing it is prohibited, primarily out of respect for local religious beliefs. Instead, the mountain serves as a popular destination for trekkers, who can view it from various vantage points along the Annapurna Circuit and other nearby trekking routes.
