Lamas dedicate their lives to the study, practice, and teaching of the Buddha's teachings, known as the Dharma. This involves deep meditation, prayer, rituals, and study. As spiritual teachers, lamas devote themselves to preserving and transmitting Buddhist teachings, often spending years in monasteries learning sacred texts, rituals, and meditation practices.
