The fascinating and beautiful village of Kagbeni (2840m). It is one of the oldest settlement in the Himalayas. Kagbeni is found upstream on the Kali Gandaki, on the road/trail to Lo Manthang.
It lies in the popular Annapurna Circuit Trekroute and is a gateway to Upper Mustang. It is a fascinating medieval village with closely packed mud brick houses, dark alleys and imposing Chhortens.
